Alexia Massoud is a reporter focusing on Community Districts 1, 7, 8, and 12 for the Bronx Bulletin.  She is currently a student at Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism, studying journalism in the climate and science sequence. She received her B.A. in international affairs with a concentration in international politics from The George Washington University. She was a Planet Forward Correspondent in 2025-26 and has previously worked at the San Antonio Express-News through the Dow Jones News Fund, Bloomberg Law, and The Brazilian Report. Gabriela  P. Velasco is a reporter covering Community District 6 and 11. She is currently an M.S. candidate at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Co-President of CJS Climate Reporters Network Group. Originally from Mexico City, Velasco graduated with a B.A. in Law from Tecnológico de Monterrey and worked as a privacy and tech lawyer before coming to New York City. Reach Gabriela at gv2397@columbia.edu

 George Hamilton III is a Bronx Bulletin Reporter, covering Districts 5, 6, and 11. George is an M.S. student at the Columbia Journalism School and was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. For undergrad, George attended California State University Dominguez Hills from 2019-20 before transferring to Howard University in 2021, where he graduated in 2024 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. While attending Howard, George had stories published in multiple Howard University publications, including one on the NBC Sports website. Prior to attending Columbia, he interned for the Los Angeles Lakers and worked for Los Angeles Football Club and Angel City Football Club. His primary interests include covering sports and transportation, both of which are important to him. Hong Ta is the video editor and reporter at Bronx Bulletin. She is a former nonprofit communications strategist in education and a local reporter in Seattle, where she is from. She attended the University of Puget Sound where she received her B.A. in Politics and Government and Spanish, Literature, Language and Culture. She speaks Vietnamese and Spanish and is learning Japanese. Jake Borden is a reporter covering Community District 8 in the Bronx. He is an M.S. candidate at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Originally from upstate New York, Borden graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and Art History from Columbia University and worked as an award-winning photojournalist and foreign correspondent in Beirut for two years before returning to New York City. Kaitlin Reed is a multimedia reporter and social media manager for the Bulletin. She covers Community Districts 6 and 11 and is pursuing her M.S. at Columbia Journalism School. Kaitlin grew up in Connecticut and speaks English, Spanish, and Russian. She began her career in law before transitioning to journalism, hoping to become an international correspondent. Her work has appeared in the Austin Independent and The Borgen Project. She is passionate about connecting with Bronxites and sharing their stories. Kate Thorpe is a multimedia artist and Bronx Bulletin reporter covering Community Districts 3 and 4. She is an M.S. candidate at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism specializing in documentary filmmaking. She is a native New Yorker, and recently completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  She is passionate about telling important stories through accessible audiovisual language. Katie Rose Caalaman covers Community District 8 in the Bronx, which includes Kingsbridge, Riverside, and Fieldston. 

They graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art with a concentration in digital media from Reed College in Portland, OR, where they spent the past five years. 

Now at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, they report on food, culture, and the impacts of climate change.

 Natalia Barbican is a reporter covering Community District 8 of the Bronx. She is currently a graduate student at Columbia University's School of Journalism. Before Columbia, Natalia worked as a conflict reporter covering the Russia-Ukraine war, with a focus on propaganda and information warfare. She has worked with PBS Frontline, the BBC, ITV and ARTE, and has contributed to projects that received Emmy, Peabody and Overseas Press Club awards. Natalia is also a longtime film critic who covers major international film festivals, and she plans to continue writing about film and culture after graduation. Reach Natalia at na3277@columbia.edu 

Rachel Lim is a reporter covering Community Districts 1, 4, and 7. Before attending Columbia Journalism School, she worked as a software engineer, most recently at the Processing Foundation, where she led the p5.js Editor project. Her work has focused on open-source software, creative coding, educational technology, and digital access. She is currently pursuing dual M.S. degrees in Journalism and Computer Science at Columbia University, and is interested in reporting at the intersection of community, education, and technology.
